Our fundamental goals are

• Empowering young minds and igniting their potential in the S.T.E.A.M disciplines.

• Exposing them to real-world and career-focused applications of S.T.E.A.M theories and concepts.

• Preparing students for excelling in S.T.E.A.M examinations, competitions or other activities locally, regionally or internationally.

Our Journey So Far

The seed for Eyes Wide Open S.T.E.A.M Education was planted in 2022 at Diego Martin Central Secondary School, when Mrs. Karen Bishop - Charles, the founder and chairperson, conceived the idea to motivate her students to become more invested in S.T.E.A.M. She envisioned planning a trip to places most of them had never been or dared to dream of visiting. Mrs. Bishop - Charles reached out to the Mayor of Orange County's office, forming a partnership that transformed this dream into a reality with the first trip taking place in 2024.

Our maiden trip was a significant milestone, where we had the privilege of taking female students to Orange County, Orlando, USA. You can learn more about this impactful experience here.
